Impressions are taken and the denture is made before the teeth are extracted. On the day of extractions the denture is ready to be inserted and also serves as a type of bandage for the extraction sites.  This process is best as a patient is never without teeth. Days after extractions the denture is refitted to the patients mouth. The process at Distinctive Dentures maintains a good fit over the first 6 months at which time a permanent reline is done as most of the changes in the mouth have leveled off.
